While I've been running around trying to get everything in order for school (today is the first day of sophomore year!), scheduling time for my blog, hobbies, and various extracurricular activities, and finishing up a new feature post (coming on Wednesday), I checked back into the internet world for a few minutes to find that style journalist and top blogger Susie Lau of Style Bubble had given me, along with several great under-the-radar blogs, a shout out in one of her blog posts, and the Youth Savage blog has made it onto her blogroll! I'd like to take this time to sincerely thank her, and thank all the people who have read anything I'd ever written, from essay posts to comments on random websites. I'm pretty thrilled that my voice is being heard amidst the masses, and it's not something I thought would happen so soon (it's been a little over a year). Your support means the world to me!
The new Youth Savage posting schedule has been officially created, and, starting today, I will be posting 3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Don't forget to catch me on my social media sites on the off days too!

In other news, the most recent installment of Independent Fashion Bloggers' Links à la Mode column featured a slew of insightful, fall-ready posts, from fall styles to DIYs. I'm really honored to have made it on this week, and I encourage you to read all of them; this list is a good mix of fun, thoughtful, and downright quirky.

Autumn is Coming

In August, Autumn often looms over us like winter does in Game of Thrones. You know it's coming but it still seems so far off. Personally, I've already snagged by boots for the season, and jacket too! While bloggers are curating their fall wishlist, you can't help to get a little bit excited, the lush fabrics, the layers the sophistication of the season. This week's round up has links that will help you squeak the last days of summer as well as get you prepared for fall. So find a nice sunny spot to enjoy the weather, relax and read these links!
