This collection by Peter Pilotto for Target is one of the most versatile collaborations yet.

I admit to having a small problem with obsessing over things my wallet can't handle. When I invited a friend to come with me to Target bright and early on the morning of February 9, she asked me "Watcha got your eye on?" to which I replied, "EVERYTHING OMG." And I was completely serious. After discovering Peter Pilotto earlier this summer, I've been obsessing over the brand's intricate work with print, and positively experienced coronary arrythmia when news of their collaboration with Target was revealed.
But I do realize that I can only buy so much, and have limited myself to two pieces, maximum. So, in an effort to avoid showing up harebrained and potentially missing out, I've weeded out my favorite pieces, sorted them by potential outfit, and set some of my budget aside to get the most bang for my buck. Click through to see my top picks from the collection!

These pieces, visibly scuba-fabric inspired, exhibit a cleanness in silhouette and patterning that is meant to flatter the femal figure by being form-fitting but not skin tight. All the pieces are modest enough (yes, even the bikinis) and designed beautifully enough to  take the guesswork out of dressing up or dressing down. Using the pieces in this collection, one can create one outfit that is appropriate for work, a night out, a formal dinner, a baby shower, and a job interview, needing to change nothing but an accessory of choice. This versatility, combined with the aesthetic genius of Peter Pilotto's prints and the affordable price tag makes this collection one worth shopping. Hopefully, the quality of the fabrics doesn''t disappoint.
